"Horseless Head Men?"

I'm guessing: somewhere there is a Headless
Horseman, and his head is not where the rest
of him is. And the Headless Horseman is not
in this book, but his Head is.

But then isn't that a Horseless Manless Head?

And how do we know that there's a horse?
Or a man?

I suppose if he says there is, you take it
on trust.

Also it explains why (if) heads are walking,
trotting, cantering and galloping in mid-air,
instead of, well, not.
