Hi again,
I recently finished reading the following.

"Shadows of self" by Brandon Sanderson is apparently a part of a long
fantasy series set forward in the future from the opening stories in
another series which I have not yet read.
I first encountered the hero in a previous novel which resembled a
Western with a Lawman from a big city out to work the Roughs far outside
the valley in which the big city sits. I didn't think it was that bad
but the new version is set in the city and now the Lawman is a member of
the Constbulary and imagine if Superman was a cop? And the dude is
flying around using his magical powers with vast Mist Coat with tassels
streaming around him. This is comic book action. I was very unhappy with
the whole thing.
