I wonder why you didn't try an essay called "Lost Books about
Discovering Lost Civilizations". I haven't heard of three of those
titles. I have read the Norton, decades ago.

I have only read the "Star Born" by Norton.

And yes, there are many books about lost or secret civilizations.
"Robinson Crusoe" and "The Island of Dr. Moreau" fit this well along
with several Perry Rhodan books.
