I quite understand your failure to endorse the Democratic
candidate for President. You are a very wealthy person and you
are certainly entitled to resist the candidate who might increase
your tax rate.

But you do irremediable harm to the idea that the Media
is Liberal. Soon you will have people clear on the idea that
rich media owners are neither liberal nor particularly public
spirited.

I seldom persue the LA Times because I live in San
Francisco where the Media barely survive in the very limited
editions of the San Francisco Chronicle and the even more
limited San Francisco Examiner which appears to be a cross
between a paper of record and a very limited news source.

You might want to rethink the policies that let you
interfere with the editorial staff.
