That's really bad news -- his books always had interesting ideas, though
it seemed like they were fatally flawed.

That's really bad news -- his books always had interesting ideas, though
it seemed like they were fatally flawed.
I don't know what you mean by that.
The only ones I have read are _Prestige_ , brilliant, 4 stars and _The
Islanders_ which, although not without interest, I didn't understand as
much as I felt I should and put it aside to be re-read but have not. Too
many loose ends and too jumbly but enjoyable whilst reading only on the
surface.

Flaws to some are features to others. When traveling Frost's trail, Priest
took neither the left nor the right fork, but rather one of Lovecraft's
non-Euclidian ones.
