I've read _Dealing with Dragons_, _The Last Unicorn_, _Storm Front_
(which honestly I wouldn't call funny at all), _The Eyre Affair_,
_The Princess Bride_, _Good Omens_, and _Small Gods_.

My Discworld choice would be _Mort_, but certainly it's a matter
of taste.

And, hang on a moment: did this guy put a book HE WROTE on the
list at #6? Not cool.

Yup, he uses the website for his advertising.

Yup, he uses the website for his advertising.
To his partial credit, he does call out that its his own book in the blurb.

Still kind of cheesy though.

The Dresden files have always mixed in some humour such as "The building was on fire and it wasn't my fault"
I don't think Storm Front has as much as some of the others (although I haven't reread it in years so I'm not sure how much to trust my memory of it)

Not too worried about that seeing as he's clear that he wrote it

But I never really thought of The last Unicorn as being funny it is more
melancholy.

Oh, it has its moments.

I just leafed through my tattered copy of the original PB, and
couldn't find the passage, so I'll have to paraphrase.
Schmendrick is telling how his master said to him, "You are such
an incompetent magician that I am certain you have the potential
for magnificent things when you finally come into your power.
However, you should live so long as it will take for this to
happen to you."

I think that's funny.

(So he made him immortal till he should come into his power, which
he eventually does.)
