Okay, here's the story:

Near the end of WWII, Germany has lost control of the air and develops
weather control devices based on the Wurzburg tracking radars in an
attempt to stop Allied bombing. This also has the side effect of halting
progress on their atomic bomb project as all of the accelerator engineers
and technicians are diverted to the weather control project.

When Germany collapses, the Soviets take control over the weather control
devices, moving them east where they are used to turn Siberia into lush
green farmland. The result of the Soviet grain surplus is that the
market becomes flooded with cheap vodka.

After Stalin is killed in a drunk driving incident (his chauffeur had
consumed a full bottle of Heroes of the Revolution vodka and passed out
behind the wheel), Lavrenti Beria becomes the new premier of the Soviet
Union and declares all-out war...

Stalin if alive would have not wanted a warm and temperate climate
anywhere but Moscow and its immediate environs. But
Siberia is warming now and we may regret it as the warming is producing
large sinkholes after the methane trapped ine permafrost escapses into
our atmosphere. Some of the same is happening on other areas under laid
by large amounts of permafrost.
That is aside from the clathrates in the undersea which is warming as
well. Humanity has made some serious and perhaps irreversible
mistakes since the Dawn of the Industrial Revolution.
You can call me an optimist but I think we are Doomed.

First, last, and always, Stalin was for Stalin. He did want to buff his
image by spreading communism, but that was secondary, as shown by a
slogan of his time "Socialism in one Country" and his massacre of German
communists in the 30s as their insistence on internationalism was
inconvenient.

A war against anything like an equal power was to be avoided. What gain
could there be for Stalin, as opposed to the possible loss?

There's a connection here to Bel Riose of Foundation. A successful
general would be a threat to Stalin's power, and an unsuccessful one

No represenative from HAMAS but some of the Representatives are
Americans of Palestinian and Lebanese Heritage and they elected by
Americans of similar backgrounds and people who sympathize with those
of such backgrounds. They are outraged at the mass slaugth of innocents

trying to kill all the members of the Terrorist outfits they are
